YOUNG? REPUBLICAN?
18-40 Years Old?
You Are Not Alone in Missouri!

It does not matter if you are from St. Louis or Ste. Genevieve, Kansas City or Kimberling City…if you live in Missouri, are young or young at heart, and are ready to go to work: you have found your new home in the Missouri Young Republicans!

If you are a part of Generations X or Y, you are probably working hard to build your life. You may think you do not have time to be aware of why your taxes keep adjusting, why local roads and bridges are they way they are, and what that guy at the quick shop is going to do with all that Sudafed he is trying to buy.

If you were attending local Young Republican meetings you would know that in the last year our Republican leaders in Missouri have worked hard to keep taxes low, have put more money into roads and schools, and have enacted some of the toughest methamphetamine laws in the nation.

Since 1933, the Missouri Young Republicans have been active players in Missouri politics addressing the issues of the day while informing and recruiting our friends and neighbors to the conservative movement. We now have groups in 17 areas of the state and close to 2500 dues paying members. We also count almost 40 members of the state legislature among our ranks and Matt Blunt is our Governor!

So whether you want to volunteer for a local candidate or be that candidate, there is an opportunity for you in our organization. Hit the join button to your left, let us know who you are and what your interests are, and try to make it to a local Young Republican meeting or event in your area.

There is always an election day around the corner…now it is time to get to work and have fun while doing it!

Your new 2006 Missouri Young Replublican State Executive Committee: Theresa Opie, KC, State Cochair; Greg Porter, KC, State Treasurer; Monica Durrwachter, St. Louis, State Chair; Mike Zweifel, Central MO, State Secretary; Tracy Gunn, St. Louis, National Committeewoman.
